With the Amazon app you can shop and process your orders anywhere. Browse categories, compare prices, read customer reviews, share links on products with your friends, check out the latest deals, shop and check the status of your orders. Find out about prices and availability by scanning a barcode or typing in your search term. You can optionally have the app notify you when your orders have been shipped and delivered.
With the Amazon app you have full access to your shopping cart, your wish list, payment methods and Prime shipping options, savings subscription and 1-click settings - just like on the Amazon.de page. All purchases made with the Amazon app go through Amazon's security servers to encrypt and protect your personal data.
Important information about permissions
In order to be able to use the Amazon Shopping app fully, you should allow the app access to the following services:
* Contacts: Allows you to send Amazon gift cards to your contacts or invite your contacts to install the Amazon app.
* Camera: The Amazon app is granted access to your device's camera. Use your camera to search for products by scanning barcodes or product images, add gift certificates or images to product reviews.
* Flash light: The Amazon app is allowed to switch on the flash light. Use the flash to search for products with the camera, even in poor lighting conditions.
* Microphone: The Amazon app is allowed to use the microphone of your device so that you can use your voice to search for products and operate the Amazon Assistant.
* Location: Allows the Amazon app to determine your location in order to show you local offers and to find addresses quickly.
* Account: Allows you to share products offered by Amazon with your family and friends via Facebook or other social networks.
* Phone: Allows the Amazon app to display the Amazon customer service number on the keypad of your phone as a preset.
